Preliminary Checks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure the MUCHO eSIM is activated and selected as the primary line for calls\/SMS.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>R\u00e9glages &gt; Donn\u00e9es cellulaires &gt; Ligne par d\u00e9faut = MUCHO<\/strong> (ou Principal ou le nom que vous avez donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la SIM MUCHO)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the <strong>MUCHO <\/strong>line can send SMS (required to activate <strong>iMessage<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that your Internet connection <strong>(Wi-Fi<\/strong> or <strong>4G\/5G<\/strong>) is working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Disable and Re-enable iMessage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Messages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deactivate <strong>iMessage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the iPhone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Messages <\/strong>and reactivate <strong>iMessage<\/strong>.<br\/>\u26a0\ufe0f The iPhone automatically sends an international SMS to <strong>Apple <\/strong>to activate <strong>iMessage<\/strong>. This is usually immediate, but can take up to 24 hours. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>3. Check MUCHO number association<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Messages<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Send and receive<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that your <strong>MUCHO <\/strong>number appears and is ticked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If only the <strong>Apple ID <\/strong>email is checked \u2192 wait a few minutes or repeat the deactivation \/ reactivation process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Do the same for FaceTime<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Settings <\/strong>&gt; <strong>FaceTime <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Deactivate \/ Reactivate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the <strong>MUCHO<\/strong> number is ticked in<strong> Reachable at<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. Troubleshooting steps (if unsuccessful)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>V\u00e9rifiez que la <strong>date\/heure<\/strong> est r\u00e9gl\u00e9e en automatique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure your iPhone is up to date<strong>(iOS<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove and reinsert the (e)SIM (or reboot after activation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If still blocked: contact <strong>MUCHO<\/strong> to check that the line can send\/receive SMS, or <strong>Apple Support<\/strong> if the problem persists on the Apple activation side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Process for iMessage Setup 1.
