My Internet connection does not work with an iPhone: How to activate MUCHO mobile services?

Some newer phones require a properly configured internet connection in order to connect the smartphone to the MUCHO network.

To do this, it is necessary to properly configure your APN. Without this, the phone may not connect to the internet or the hotspot may not work.

Here’s how to connect your smartphone to the network once your Sim is inserted into your smartphone.

  1. In the settings of your phone, select the Mobile Service / Mobile Data menu.
  2. Find the Mobile Data Network menu.
  3. Verify if the Use Network Provider Settings button is visible.
  4. If the button is visible, ensure that it is activated. In the Mobile Data and Personal Hotspot sections, the “APN” fields are automatically configured. Manual setup is not required (ignore all following steps).
  5. If the Use Network Provider Settings button is NOT visible, find the Mobile Data section.
  6. Select the “APN” field and type the word: internet.
  7. Do not fill in anything on the “Username” and “Password” fields.
  8. Then find the Personal Hotspot menu.
  9. Select the “APN” field and type the word: internet.
  10. Do not fill in anything on the “Username” and “Password” fields.
  11. Click on “back” to save.
